MYLLYMÄKI SKIING RESORT

In South Karelia, the Myllymäki skiing resort is located six kilometers from the center of Joutseno.
The skiing resort has 6 lighted slopes, 4 lifts, a children’s lift, altitude 70m, slope lengths 300-600m, children’s slope, 5km lighted cross-country skiing trail and a sledding slope. Other services available are skiing school, ski maintenance, equipment rental and storage, cafe/restaurant, sauna and campfire. Near the lifts at the bottom of the hill lies a 60m2 grilling cabin, which can be booked for several events.
Lake Saimaa, nature and peaceful atmosphere will even make the most busy traveller to enjoy the Lappeenranta’s borough, Joutseno. With all the necessary services are close by and easily accessible, the blocks for succesfull family holiday are in place.

HOSSUKAN HELMI

Magnificent, in 2002 built private sauna, welcomes you to lake Saimaa. The facilities are designed wonderfully to meet the needs for different kind of groups and thus will certainly work for your event! At the end of the day, you can sit back and relax in the smoke sauna like gentle steam, and cool of either in lake Saimaa or in the hot tub located on the patio. Meeting and get-togethers space is designed for approx. 35 people’s needs. For larger groups there is an extension building (Old Hossukka), 130m2, allowing dining for up to 80 people.

VIIMOLAN KULTAMAA

20km from Imatra to Joensuu at lake Rautjärvi stands a characterful, over 100 years old school, which has been renovated to an idyllic and peafecul haven. Later on, there’s been built an roomy wooden sauna building, which terrace is a comfly place to sit down at the end of the day, while mesmeraze the swans on the lake.
The great in- and outdoors provide many kind of activities from childrens camps to adults sauna evenings and from business meetings to prestige celebrations.
Viimolan Kultamaa is available during the summer season from May to June.

KORPITIMANTTI

At location of Korpikeidas, approx 7km from the center of Joutseno, next to Myllymäki skiing resort, is Korpitimantti. A 110m2 luxury cabin with underfloor heating and small kitchen. The place fits more than well for a small party or as an escape from everyday life. 36 table seats around wonderful fireplace. There’s also and billiard table, PA system and TV. WC outside the cabin.

And remember that you can also have and comprehensive activity package, maybe an billiards instructor or how about snowboarding in the winter time and sauna?
